Mardi Himal Base Camp trek is a bit challenging but very stunning and beautiful 8 days trek in Annapurna region that offers breathtaking views of Himalayan ranges, beautiful valleys, spectacular landscaped hills, mixed local culture and village settlement of Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Brahmin people. This trek offers magnificent views of the world’s famous and most majestic mountains including Dhaulagiri I(8,167m) which is the seventh highest mountain in the world, Annapurna I(8,091m)which is the tenth highest mountain in the world, Annapurna South(7,219m), Machhapuchhare (6,993m) which is unclimbed and also known as Fish Tail Mountain ,Hiuchuli(6,441m) and many more. This trek gives you a golden opportunity to get experience to trek from the low land valley (873M) to the high altitude (4,500m) in certain days. You can experience the local lifestyle in this trek. Itinerary of Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek that is offered by Nepal Nature Adventure Destination Pvt.Ltd is as below and it can be customized as per your time frame and interest.

Day 1

Pokhara – Kande – Pothana – Pitam Deurali (2,100m)

After having breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive for about 1.5 hours to get to Kande. Then we will walk for about 2.5 hours enjoying the scenery of Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhare and Annapurna mountains to get to Pothana where we will have lunch. After having lunch, we will walk for about an hour to get to Pitam Deurali where we will spend an overnight.

Day 2

Pitam Deurali - Forest Camp (Kokar)(2,600m)

After having breakfast in Pitam Deurali, we will walk about 6 hours to get to Forest Camp where we will have lunch and spend an overnight. We’d better take something to eat on the way to Forest Camp.

Day 3

Forest Camp (Kokar) – Low Camp – Badal Danda (3,300M)

After having breakfast in Forest Camp, we will walk for about 3.5 Hours to get to Low Camp where we will have lunch. We will walk about 2.5 hours more after having lunch in Low Camp to get to Badal Danda where we will stay an overnight. We can enjoy amazing views of Annapurna and Machhapurchhare.

Day 4

Badal Danda – High Camp (3,500M)

After having breakfast in Badal Danda,we will walk uphill for about 4 hours to get to High Camp where we will have lunch and spend an overnight. We can do short hike for acclimatization or we rest for next big day to Mardi Himal Base Camp. You can enjoy the views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, Lamjung himal, view of beautiful hills and valleys including Pokhara valley.

Day 5

High Camp – Mardi Himal Base Camp(4,500)-High Camp

After having breakfast in High Camp we will walk uphill for Mardi Himal Base Camp and it takes about 4.5 hours to get there. We’d better take pack lunch for this day. We will enjoy the magnificent close distance views of mountains including Himchuli , Annapurna South , ten peaks, Gangapurna, Annapurna forth, Machhapuchhare, Lamjung Himal and so on from there. Then we will get back down to High Camp and it takes about 3 hours. We will spend an overnight in High Camp.
